n504482014_445771_913.jpgAfter you finish celebrating tonight’s Canucks victory (which they will do), go to bed early, and get ready to wake up at 5:30 to hear ex-C’s press box attendee Lynden McBeth (left) on 107.9 FM tomorrow morning, in his inaugural show.  I’m going to dub it ‘McBeth in the Morning’, because I don’t know the actual title so that’s good enough for me.  Saturday and Sunday this week, hear the lone Canadian Indianapolis Colts fan’s show, from 5:30 to 8:00.  I’ll be up.

While you’re at it if you do get up for his show, do all your Sunday household stuff before 12:00 because Rob Fai is now in his 3rd week of ‘Canadians Gameday’.  The show which this season alone has had such stars as Kurt Suzuki, Torii Hunter and Lee ‘Ozzie’ Smith, continues this week for the hour-long fun.  Head to Canadiansbaseball.com to see more about the show, and to find the podcast.

I have to say, Fai along with Andrew Seymour have put together some great guests for the show, and I wouldn’t expect this week to be any less exciting.  Dave Tomlinson has nothing on Fai.

Speaking of The Team 1040, the 2009 C’s broadcast schedule is out, and along with Chris Pritchett who is in for his second season aboard the C’s Broadcast Express, will broadcast 15 Canadians home games, including the Season Opener on June 20th, 6 Sunday afternoon games, and 8 more exciting nights of C’s baseball.  Lou Filippo will serve as Field Reporter for his second year with the club.

The remainder of the games can be found on Canadiansbaseball.com, with the voice of the C’s Rob Fai.
