I would love to see Triple A baseball return to Vancouver! It'd be fun to see the games again. One day, maybe, if Kerr and Mooney is able - would it be possible (realistically?) to bring a Major League franchise to Vancouver? Could the Canadiens make that jump (Kind of what the Whitecaps are doing - moving up from the USL to the MLS) to the Big Leagues? A pipe dream, but Andy Dunn (worked for the Marlins and the Nationals) is way too qualified to be managing a single A baseball club. I think there's more in the works for the next few years. Vancouver sports fans are great - we just don't have too many major league franchises in our beautiful town (Major Leagues: NHL, soon-to-be MLS; Minor Leagues: CFL; Major Leagues that I hope we one day get: MLB, NLL, NBA). If we can land MLB and re-gain NBA & NLL franchises, we'd have 5 Big League teams in our city. What an amazing feat that would be, and it would definitely put Vancouver, BC on the map of the world once again =)

We'd be a world class sporting city. As of now, we are not a world class sporting city (unfortunately). In terms of sporting entertainment, we'd have a lot more options - and Sportsnet, as well as TSN (maybe even CBC) would have much more to cover :)
