Shamenski! Good to see you lurking about the blog. Email on the way.

Bob, WP 2.5 has a built-in image gallery/uploader thing which I chose to basically ignore. We've been using a plugin called Xinha4WP for about 18 months now that gives enhanced text editor options, one of which is the ability to upload, manipulate, and insert images. I didn't fancy having to reupload every image we've ever used and format it to the new WP tool, so I just stuck with the plugin instead, and it's all working fine.

Oz, it looks like you've managed to upload at least one picture and insert it into an article with WP 2.5.

http://thecollegebaseballblog.com/ , which I post articles to once or twice a week, switched to WP 2.5 at about the same time you did. I've had all sorts of trouble uploading pictures.

Parry,
It's been a long time. I want to find out what happened with that book you wrote for the 2004 season. Hit me back when you get the chance.
Cheers,
      James
