Yes, tonight’s games are underway, rain or not.

And since it’s a doubleheader, if you leave for the stadium now, you’ll still see a good 10 innings or so of ball.

UPDATE: The rain isn’t letting up, so game two has been called off and game 1 shortened at 6 innings. C’s had time enough to win that one 7-3, with Corey Brown rocking a 3-run blast over the outfield wall, and JD Pruitt getting plunked to be just 4 off the league record for HBPs in a season.

Scott Hodsdon went 5.1 innings for the win, giving up 3 earned along with three walks and three strikeouts.

C’s go on the road tonight, with the cancelled game due to be made up if/when the two teams play again this season, or during an off-day, or at the end of the season, according to NWL rules (thanks for the heads up, Hawker Rob).
