I've also got the blog set to notify me of any comment that includes a URL, and each comment is moderated before it is released to the site, so all in all, I'm pretty happy with the security level. I figure a few more weeks of tight security and I'll start loosening things up a little, and maybe allow registered users to comment without moderation (providing the comment doesn't include a URL).
